Sup guys
Its been almost a month since I last updated this blog.
There are couple reasons why I suddenly stopped blogging.
1. Moving from White Plains to Jackson Heights, NY!
Yes, I finally am living much closer to the city!!!
Now I don't have to take Metro North and pay $15~$20 to go into the city, AND I don't have to worry about catching the last train to go home because subways are running 24/7! AWESOME!!!
But why did this prevent me from blogging?
First, I'm currently working 7 days a week. I barely have time for myself and in order to make this move happen, I had to get off from my training schedule for a week so I can pack.
One of the biggest reasons behind updating this blog is stick to the training schedule and write about it as a record. But due to this circumstances, I had to stop. Therefore, I stopped updating the blog.
2. Wi-Fi
My new place is great. Its cheaper but larger and clean. Accessible to many places and its very convenient.
BUT
THE WI-FI (included in utilities) SUCKED SO BAD lol
I would connect to the network and it will disconnect with in couple minutes.
To me, this is a huge problem.
I'm used to working in fast environment. Having a slow Wi-Fi not only sucks my motivation to use the computer, but irritates me to the point where I get mad. I'm trying to avoid things that makes me mad because I tend to get violent very quickly and I have a lot of experience that I regret to this day from being mad.
For that reason, I didn't touch the computer lol
I thought about updating the blog from my iPhone, but it doesn't display the blog post as it does on the computer :(
Therefore, I just gave up and decided to wait until the cable company can fix it.
The new house I live now has a contract with Verizon. And man Verizon sucks...took them 2 weeks to come and fix the problem :(
So this was a huge issue that I had since I moved in. Now its resolved and things are working just fine.
3. Training with ilya.
Since July 3rd, my crew mate Ilya (popping iLL) moved into my room and we began to train together.
This was something that we've always wanted to do since Ilya brought up a point that most of poppers that we look up to that are best in 2vs2 battles or even 1vs1, has an experience of living together with their partner to not only practice, but evolve as a person and understand the partner to form a strong team relationship.
The moment I heard this opinion, it just made sense to me naturally.
Also, since Ilya is doing an internship in the city, it made more sense for him to commute from my place rather than going back to his home town in New Jersey.
I have some video of our daily schedule and sneak peak of training.
I will upload them soon.
Lastly, just to remind you that I've been doing this while working 7 days a week. So yea,,,I needed some time to get used to ya know? lol But now I'm getting the hang of it and gradually adapting to this lifestyle. NO MORE EXCUSES !!!
In addition to these changes, I had couple guests that stayed over last weekend for the event "Step Ya Game Up" Its a two day event and one of the biggest and renowned Street Dance Competition in New York. But I'll get back to that later.
That is all I have to say now, and I will get back to updating this blog daily again since I have stuff to share and there are some event coming up that I'm excited about!
Peace and God Bless
SUGALOO
