Its already August.....Let's blog about Tea/Teavana

So I have to admit, that I SERIOUSLY lack in consistency lol

I last blogged on May and since than I've been slacking.....not good.

Therefore, I will once again start to dedicate myself in doing this.

I'm still not confident about my writing, so I'll be using the power of visual image to help me out!

Now.... what to blog about.....

Let's just introduce you to some TEA!!!

I work part time at retail tea store called TEAVANA

Looks like this in front

Inside looks like this

Sample tea in front of the store.
By the way,,,,,
DO NOT TAKE SAMPLES WITH OUT ASKING THE SALES PERSON OR MULTIPLE TIMES!!!
If you are willing to buy tea, sure, we will politely give you the sample.
But its not a FREE DRINK BAR. Don't be greedy or think that WE (sales person) are your servant.
Working here really made me realize how painful and stressful it is when people don't treat you like a human being. Please, have some respect.

Ok, back to introducing the tea...

The name comes from it being the "Heaven of Tea"
Teavana specializes in selling Loose leaf tea, Yup, actual tea leafs and I sell it in tins like this

It has many kinds of tea from around the world, China, Japan, India, Britain, South Africa, Argentina, Nepal, Tai land to name a few.

The tea is divided into 6 different types of tea.

White Tea
Benefits:
Rich in antioxidants, highest out of all the teas.
Great for detoxing.

Taste:
Doesn't have strong taste. If tasting alone, its for people who like saddle taste.

Recommendation:
Body and Mind(Plain)
If you want to get the benefit of White, Green, and Oolong, get this. Taste like a regular Chinese tea, good iced or hot.

Youthberry(Flavored)
By far the best tasting white tea if you like fruity punch like tasting tea. Also its rich in Acai berry powder and good for the skin.

Price:
Its expensive lol If you don't wana invest in tea, you can also buy a cup of tea so try it first and decide later.

Green Tea

Benefits:
Rich in Polyphenols and antioxidants.
Great for boosting your immune system.

Taste:
Most plain green teas have glass bitterness. Some flavored ones are tasty and good for ice tea.

Recommendation:
Gyokuro Imperial(Plain)
NO F'ING RADIATION ON THE F'ING TEA SO STOP ASKING ME ABOUT IT lol
This green tea is harvested in a place called Sizuoka which is far from the radiation plant so NO NEED TO WORRY lol
If you like traditional greet tea, you never will go wrong with this one.

Peachberry Jasmine(Flavored)
This tea is really similar to youthberry in my opinion. Its really good iced so try it!

Price: Its still fairly expensive.
The price is lower than white tea, but Teavana sell teas by weight so when you scale it, its still comes out expensive. If you are not sure about it, buy a cup or get small quantity.

Oolong Tea

Benefits:
Good for fasting your metabolism. Great dieting tea!
Its kind of tea Chinese restaurant serve you after meal. Chinese food is oily and contains a lot of fat so they control their body by drinking tea.

Taste:
Teavana Oolong Plain teas are REALLY plain like water and flavored ones are strong in flavor and dark. Not my personal best to drink it by itself, thus, I mix them usually with other tea.

Recommendation:
Jasmine Oolong(Plain)
Saddle Jasmine scented tea. Its really good for relaxation too.

Sweet Oolong Revolution(Flavored)
This tea is really sweet but with a little spice. Has a lot of Pumpkin and mango flavor.

Price: Fairly reasonable except plain Oolong that we usually recommend, Monkey Picked Oolong. It may be the best tea to fasten your metabolism but $25 for 2 ounces is expensive. If you wana try plain, go for Jasmine Oolong. If you want to feel rich, go for the monkey picked lol

Black Tea
Benefits:
Great morning tea. Has most caffeine out of all the teas.
Breaks down fat, preventing heart disease.

Taste:
This is the tea that people are usually used to drinking, like lipton tea.
Mostly dark and smoky.

Recommendation: (Personally, I don't dig black tea that much lol but these are ones I drink)
Assam Gold Rain(Plain)
Reasonable priced and smoky strong black tea.

Cha Yen Thai(Flavored)
Good, but not the best Tai tea I had.

Price:
Assam is the most reasonable option to go if you are buying plain tea. Others are expensive. Flavored ones are cheap. I recommend it for a reasonable gift.

Mate Tea

Benefits:
Fully caffeinated like coffee, boost your energy with out jitters and curves your appetite.
Good morning tea.
The difference between Black tea is that Mate is a HERBAL tea. So most of it doesn't contain actual tea leaf.

Taste:
Strong in any kind of taste. Its definitely the best one to kick start your day.

Recommendation:(Note:There are not Plain mate in Teavana)
Raspberry Riot Lemon Mate(Flavored)
Great strong tasting raspberry tea. Great when iced.

Javavana(Flavored)
Its like coffee!!! But healthier than coffee since its organic natural tea. Strong brewed Javavana with creme or milk is like a cup of coffee.

Price:
Cheaper than White,Green, Oolong and Black because it doesn't have that much of actual TEA LEAF inside. But tastes great and has benefits like I listed above.

Rooibos Tea
Benefits:
Great for fighting against allergies and cold.
Good teas to mix with White, Green, Oolong, Black tea to make it taste better!!!

Taste:
Strong in any kind of taste like Mate.

Recommendation:
Lemon Lime Kanpai
Really lemony tea! If you like lemon, try this.

Rooibos Tropica
By far the best one to mix with ANY kind of tea if you like saddle fruity taste in your tea.

Price:
Cheaper than White, Green, Oolong and Black with the same reason as Mate.

Herbal Tea

Benefits:
Rich in real organic flavor from dried fruits and its vitamins and minerals.
Like mate, good teas to mix with White, Green, Oolong, Black tea to make it taste better!!!

Taste:
Strong in any kind of taste like Mate and Rooibos. Recommended iced tea.

Recommendation:
Strawberry Lemonade
The name sounds AWESOME right!? well it tastes awesome I tell you that lol
Great ice tea!

Price:
Cheaper than White, Green, Oolong and Black with the same reason as Mate and Rooibos.
